Dr. Jemima Felicity Languido Albayda is an Assistant Professor at the John Hopkins University, Baltimore MD, USA.  She took her Medical Doctorate degree at the University of Sto. Thomas, Manila.  She also took Post-doctoral work at the Philippine General Hospital, New York Downtown Hospital, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and John Hopkins University.  She is also awarded research grants for developing machine intelligence in indentifying biomarkers in assessing muscle disorders.  She is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Jack Hess Baricuatro is a staff scientist at California Institute of Technology.  He took his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Texas A&M University and he is a post-doctoral research scholar at California Institute of Technology.  He is a member of the American Chemical Society and Phi Lambda Upsilon (National Chemistry Honor Society).  His research interests include electrochemical catalysis. He also received the Distinguished Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University in 2004.

Dr. Laarni Escresa is an Assistant Professor on School of Economics at the University of the Philippines Diliman.  She took her Ph.D in Law and Economics at University of Bolognia.  She is also a member of the Society for Institutional and Organizational Economics (SIOE), European Association of Law and Economics (EALE), International Society of New Institutional Economics (ISNIE), American Law and Economics Association (ALEA), and the Italian Society of Law and Economics (ISLE).

Dr. Ruth H. Florese is a Senior Project Manager under the Clinical Project Management Team at the Henry Jackson Foundation/US Military HIV Research Program (MHRP).  She took her Ph.D degree in Pathological Sciences, Major in Molecular Virology at the Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine.  She is also a member of the Philippine Society of Microbiology (PSM), University of the Philippines Alumni Association, University of the Philippines Alumni Association  in Washington DC, and the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America.
Dr. Alonzo A. Gabriel is a Professor of Food Science and Technology at the University of the Philippines Diliman.  He took his Ph.D. degree in Biofunctional Science and Technology (Food Microbiology and Hygiene) at Hiroshima University.  He is a recipient of multiple awards including the 2014 Outstanding Young Persons of the World in Academic Leadership/Achievement, 2014 Gregorio Y. Zara Award for Applied Research, 2013 Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines in Food Science and Technology, 2013 International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) Young Scientist Excellence Award, and 2013 Outstanding Young Scientist of the Philippines in Food Microbiology and Hygiene. Dr. Lawrence Luna Ilag is the Deputy Chief of Party under the USAID-STRIDE Project at RTI International.  He took his J.D.  degree at Harvard Law School and Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale Universty. He implements mission activities to improve science and technology research in the Philippines, which includes programs for the enhancement of institutional policy and management capacity for science and technology reseach, including the intellectual property generated, of Philippine higher-education institutions.
Dr. Mariluz Mojica Henshaw is an Associate Professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She took her Ph.D in Human Genetics at the University of Utah.  Her research interests are clinical -grade cell manufacturing, human genetics, assay development, regenerative medicine, hematology, FDA submissions, stem cell research, biotechnology, and education.
Dr. Edsel Aldea Peña is a Professor of Statistics at the University of South Carolina.  He took his Ph.D. degree in Statistics at Florida State University.  He is a recipient of multiple awards including the 2011 Outstanding Alumnus for Research and Instruction (University of the Philippines Los Baños), 2008 University of South Carolina Educational Foundation Research Award for Science, Mathematics and Engineering, and 2007 University of South Carolina Michael J. Mungo Graduate Teaching Award Winner.  He is a member of the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and International Biometrics Society. 
Dr. Stella Luz A. Quimbo is the Comissioner of the Philippine competition Comission and a Professor in School of Economics at the University of the Philippines Diliman.  She took her Ph.D. in Economics at University of the Philippines Diliman.  She is also a recipient of several awards including Prince Claus Professorial Chair, 2010 Outstanding Woman in Nation's Service (TOWNS) Award, 2009 Outstanding Young Scientist, 2016 Freedom Flame Award, and two Outstanding Scientific Paper awards.  She is also a board member of the Philippine Economic Society.

Dr. Lilibeth A. Salvador-Reyes is an Assistant Professor of Marine Science institute at University of the Philippines Diliman.  She took her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Medicinal Chemistry from University of Florida.  She is nominated for the ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women from the Philippines.  She also received the 2012 Kilmer Prize awarded by the American Pharmacists Association and the American Society of Pharmacognosy.  She is a member of the American Society of Pharmacognosy and Natural Products Society of the Philippines.
Dr. Aristotle T. Ubando is an Associate Professor and Research Fellow of De La Salle University Manila.  He took his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at De La Salle University Manila.  He is a recipient of several awards including National Winner for Engineering, Mathematics and Information Technology at the 2016 CHED Republica Awards, The Philippines Promising Star for 2016 in the field of Computer Science, 2016 Outstanding Young Scientist Award in the field of Mechanical Engineering and 2015 Outstanding Scientific Paper Award.  He is also a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Philippines Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Fullbright Philippine Agriculture Alumni Association.  He is also a membership committee lead at the National Research Council of the Philippines.  To know more about Dr. Ubando and his work, visit his website at http://atubandoresearch.wixsite.com/home
